Project Launch

We are excited to announce that the project will officially launch on Thursday 6 October.  We have planned an event at Massey University in Wellington and have invited representatives from a wide range of stakeholders, including Ministers of Parliament, DHBs, the Ministry of Health, the Nursing Council, NZNO, Schools of Nursing, WorkSafe, Nursing Colleges, Te Ruunanga o Aotearoa, Council of Maaori nurses and the media.  We expect that the launch will generate a great deal of media interest and we look forward to posting updates in our news section.

We have two fantastic speakers lined up for the launch.  Professor Gregor Coster Chair of the WorkSafe Board, and Dr Jane O'Malley, Chief Nursing Officer, have both agreed to provide an opening address.

The launch coincides with the start of the nationwide survey on nurses' work patterns and fatigue.
